Hello! My name is Sarah Montgomery and I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in Baltimore City.

I specialize in working with individuals with a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to:

• Eating Disorders

• Disordered Eating

• Anxiety

• Depression

• PTSD

• Bipolar Disorder

I have experience using multiple modalities such as CBT-E, CBT, DBT, CPT, ACT, motivational interviewing and FBT. Although I do have this experience, I want to use the modalities that are best for each client. I believe each client is an individual and their treatment should also be individualized.

I like to approach my work with a humanistic mindset knowing and believing each client can recover or manage their eating disorder and diagnosis. I use client focused therapy and rapport building to ensure my clients feel safe and heard, while also being realistic knowing recovery looks different for everyone.
